PERSONAL DATA
The General Data Protection Regulation is a regulation implemented by the European Commission as of May 25, 2018, for all companies operating in Europe. At Le Slip, we are therefore concerned!
Here are some definitions that will be useful to you in understanding the commitments of the French Slip set out below:
- Personal data: means any information likely to relate to an identified or identifiable natural person directly or indirectly.
- DPO: The Data Protection Officer (DPO) is responsible for implementing compliance with the European Data Protection Regulation within the organization that designated him/her with regard to all processing carried out by that organization.
- Data controller: The data controller is the legal or natural person who determines the purposes and means of processing. In practice and in general, this is the legal person represented by its legal representative.
The data controller is the company Le Slip Français, hereinafter (“We”).
WHAT DOES THIS CONCRETELY CHANGE?
To protect Internet users from data leaks or misuse of personal data, it is now mandatory for companies to keep visitors informed of all computer processing carried out using the data collected.
Like all e-retailers, we collect data about our users and work with several third-party service providers, who therefore have access to some of our data. This data is essential to provide you with the best possible experience on our site and ensure the smooth processing of your order.
We have nothing to hide, we want to be as transparent as possible, so we're going to tell you everything!

This country provides an adequate level of protection for your personal data in accordance with the Commission's decision of December 20, 2001, noting the adequate level of protection of personal data provided by the Canadian Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act.
These servers contain our database, which is necessary for the website to function. Information about customer accounts and your orders is stored there.
